Summer of Service: Side-Yard Beautification

June 23rd, 2018

On the south side of our new building is a small outdoor area (accessed via the sanctuary) that has the potential to become another gathering space. The Capitol Hill Fellowship Group is hosting a work day on Saturday, June 23, to beautify this space. The project includes replacing and repairing portions of the existing fence, building planter boxes, and landscaping with low-water plants. Lunch provided for volunteers.

Project Leader: Dana Abood
Location: Fellowship Denver Church, 1990 S Broadway, Denver, CO 80210
Volunteer need: 20.
This project is best suited to volunteers who enjoy landscaping and/or light construction work (such as demolition or building a fence).

Do you know of a local organization that has practical needs that can be met by Fellowship Denver volunteers? We are looking for more service opportunities in July and August. Contact Jill Anschutz for more information (
